In September of 2013, Saltwater-fisheries Enhancement Association created a reef in the Gulf of Mexico. Several large concrete blocks were used to create a habitat for many species of aquatic life. This three year project was a success with the help of many people around the coastal bend.

160 acres of reefing material destined for state waters between Packery Channel and Port Aransas.

Help support our local SEA organization and support our waterways. Take a look at their Rigs to Reef program online http://seatexas.com/rigs-to-reefs/ and write our U.S. Legislators in Washington, DC and others listed on the page.
